Yummy Mixed Vegetables and Khichri | Lunch Special | سبزی اور کھچڑی

Are you a vege lover? Then try our signature mixed vegetable recipe made up of yummy vegetable ingredients. This food is traditionally served with delicious Khichri that is rice with lentils. This can also be served with Roti or Chapati if you like.

Today, I show you how to prepare this mouth watering recipe.

Ingredients for Mixed Vegetables:
1/2 cup chopped Onion
3 Large Carrots
3 Medium size chopped Tomatoes
4 green onions (White and Green part chopped separately)
1/2 cup Peas
250 to 300 grams Spinach
1 cup Cilantro ( hara dhaniya)
2 medium size Potatoes
1/4 cup Yellow Lentil ( Chana Daal) soaked for 1/2 an hour
1/3 cup Oil
1 Tsp Salt
1/3 Tsp Turmeric
1 Tbsp Ground Coriander
1/2 Tbsp Ground Cumin
2 Tbsp Fenugreek  Leaves (Qasoori Methi)
1 Tbsp chopped Green Chillies
1 Tbsp chopped Garlic


Ingredients for Khichri:
1 cup Bamati Rice
1/2 cup Moong Daal
1/3 cup sliced Onion
1/3 cup Oil
2 Tsp Salt
3 cups Water

Yummy Pizza Bun | Kids Favorite | پیزا بن

Hey guys! School year has just started here in the State of Washington and thinking of lunch ideas for kiddos I wanted to share with you my absolute go-to school lunch. Ladies and gentle men, today we brought to you our "Pizza Bun" recipe. These Pizza Buns not only are great for school lunches, they are absolute perfect for parties and potlucks too. Let us head to my kitchen to see how they are made....

Ingredients For Dough:
3 cups All Purpose Flour (Maida)
1 Egg (skip if allergic to eggs)
1 Tbsp Sugar
1/2 tsp Salt
2 Tbsp Melted Butter
1 1/2 Tsp Yeast
1/2 cup or as required Milk
3/4 cup Luke Warm Water

Ingredients For Chicken Filling:
250 gms Boneless Cubed Chicken
1/4 tsp Turmeric (Haldi)
1/2 tsp Garam Masala
1/2 tsp Roasted Ground Cumin (Bhuna Pissa Zeera)
1/2 tsp Paprika (Pisi Daigi Mirch)
1/2 tsp Ground Red pepper ( pisi Lal Mirch)
1/2 tsp Salt
1 tsp Ginger Garlic Paste
1 Tbsp Oil
1 Tbsp Lemon Juice or Vinegar

Ingredients For Assembling the Pizza Buns:
Bell Pepper cut it in small cubes
Mushrooms cut it in small cubes
Olives
Onions cut it in small cubes
Jalapenos (optional)
Pizza Sauce or Ketchup as required
Chicken
Mozzarella Cheese as required
Cheddar Cheese as required
1 Egg for egg wash
Sesame seeds as needed (optional)
